Brett Blumenthal

Brett Blumenthal – CEO

Prior to starting Be Healthy, Inc., Brett Blumenthal founded Sheer Balance (2007) and The Healthy Road Warrior (2010) educate and empower individuals to find balance and health in their every day lives.  She has 20 years of experience in wellness promotion and almost 10 years experience in management consulting; including branding, change management, and training strategy and development for Fortune 100 companies. Brett combined her passion for wellness and her seasoned experience in consulting to ultimately start Be Healthy, Inc.

Brett Blumenthal is bestselling author of Get Real and STOP Dieting! (December 2010) and international bestseller 52 Small Changes: One Year to a Happier, Healthier You (January 2012). She regularly speaks at conferences, spas and wellness centers, and consults on topics of health and wellbeing, as well as business strategy. Her writing is regularly featured on popular sites including: Yahoo!, Shine from Yahoo!, Divine Caroline, Intent and Gather. She has also been featured in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Spa Magazine, Stuff Boston, American Fitness, The METRO and Organic Spa Magazine.  Brett has appeared on NBC, FOX and CBS, as well as on Martha Stewart’s Whole Living Radio Show – on Sirius Radio, and Magic 106.7, Talk 96.9, and WBZ 1030 in Boston. She is a regular guest on Better Connecticut (WFSB – CBS, Hartford, CT) and MyFox – 25 in Boston.

Brett has received numerous awards including: Shine from Yahoo! “Woman of the Year;” Divine Caroline’s Love this Site! award; Intent’s Best Healthy Living Site Award; and Healthy Heart from Nature Made.

Brett received her MBA from Johnson at Cornell University, where she graduated as a Park Fellow; she also earned her bachelors degree from Cornell University. She is certified by WELCOA (Wellness Council of America) and AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America).

Kristi Audette

Kristi Audette – Production

Kristi Audette has been successfully producing events for over 16 years.  Her diverse planning background includes large tradeshows, conferences, special events and sporting events for corporate and association clients.  Wellness and the natural products industry have been both a personal and professional focus, and the Be Healthy Boston event is the perfect vehicle for this passion.  Kristi is married to her best friend, and has “produced” three grown sons, of whom she is extremely proud!

Abby Hueber

Abby Hueber – Outreach and Programming Director

Abigail Hueber is a future Registered Dietitian, currently completing her Dietetic Internship at Simmons College in Boston. She also holds a bachelors degree in Health and Exercise Sciences from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania. Abby has experience in several fields of nutrition. She has taught child nutrition and cooking classes at the Martha Eliot Center, a subset of Children’s Hospital, and has been a volunteer at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, working under the head clinical dietitian for the past year. Abby is passionate about wellness and believes strongly in the role diet plays in establishing optimal health. She believes that wellness is not about perfection, it is about finding your own balance between life and health and enjoying everything in between!

Leigh Richards

Leigh Richards – Social Media Director

Leigh Richards is helping us manage Be Healthy Boston’s numerous social media platforms. She attended our Be Healthy Boston 2012 event and was completely energized by all the event had to offer! Leigh holds a bachelors degree in Marketing from Providence College and has a passion for nutrition, fitness and wellness. Leigh recently completed her first marathon in San Diego, running with Team in Training Boston Chapter to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Leigh is an avid gym-goer and loves to try new classes including Hip Hop Yoga, Urban Rebounding and Zumba. Leigh believes the key to living a healthy life is surrounding yourself with things that you love, having a positive attitude, and eating lots of greens!
